PUKEY, PUKEY...
It's been 4 weeks now. I'm still sick.
A month ago I had what I thought was a flu bug. I missed two days of work and thought I was done with it. Well, 4 weeks later I still feel like I'm going to puke everyday. The nausea comes and goes and some days are better than others. Today I had to leave work again after only being there for two hours.
My doctor did an entire blood work-up and sent me to have abdominal x-rays. Neither of which showed anything. I talked to the doctor's office today and he is now scheduling me for a CAT scan of my abdomen this week. If that turns up nothing, he will refer me to a specialist.
I'm not sure how much longer I can live with this feeling that I'm going to toss my cookies several times a day, 7 days a week. I haven't felt hungry for the past month. I eat only because it's meal time and then I can't eat very much. Someone actually asked me at work this morning if I'd lost weight. While that's really flattering and all, I can think of much better ways to do it.
Sorry the blog has suffered because of this. As soon as I'm feeling better I'm sure I will have lots to post about.
I have some things in the works that will make for some good posts.
Until then, don't give up on me! I'm still here.

Hope your feeling better soon. I just talked to my friend Jeff this morning. He was in the doctors office again today. He has been sick the last month also. They said that some people have been in and out all winter. We really need some sunshine and warm weather!
Aww, I'm sorry you're still getting sick. I hope you/they figure out why soon.
oh man, sorry to hear that... i'm convinced that there are some super bugs out there, i've been sick since new years, colds, broncitis, stomach flu...

Yikes! I've been ill a lot lately - done the blood tests things etc too. However, you sound like you're having a bad time. Gentle hug from the UK - don't want to squeeze too hard...
