Oh my GOD!!! I'm going freaking crazy! When your wall color contrasts this much with your trim color it's soooo tedious to cut around the trim! I'm so glad I have the entire weekend to do this!
Thanks for stopping by and the kind words Scott. Since I'm just coming out, redoing the house, according to Jack, on Will and Grace, isn't that more of a lesbian thing? Sorry my bad.
"cutting" is a painting term, Sue. It means to paint with a trim brush very closely to the trim or ceiling that you have already painted as to not get any wall paint on it. Otherwise you couldn't get close enough with the roller without messing up the casing around the windows or ceiling. There. Are you happy?
I've been trying to get some painting done for the past 90 days. We did some walls with really dark colors (deep red, chocolate brown, etc) and its is such a bear to work with. The trim, baseboards and crown moulding around the ceiling are such a nightmare but I love the way it looks so far.

why dont you tape it off, those are painting terms too? maybe it would take too much tape? and wouldnt be cost effective? scott, you are SO smart!!!
BUT,one more thing, stop goin freaking crazy doing the painting, plenty of people have asked to help and MY phones not ringing.hahaha...
I would help if supplied with scotch and valium. That is if you don't care how it will look in the end.
